  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp kosher salt, plus more
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp. finely grated orange zest
Directions
  • Step 1 Place a rimmed baking sheet on bottom rack of oven and preheat oven to 450°. Toss brussels sprouts and oil in a large bowl, then season generously with salt and black pepper.
  • Step 2 Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Arrange brussels cut side down on baking sheet. Roast brussels until softened and starting to crisp, for about 20 minutes. Check halfway through and shake the pan flip them.
  • Step 3 Towards the end of cook time, bring honey to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook until honey is a deep amber color and starts to foam. Remove from heat and whisk in orange juice.
  • Step 4 Transfer brussels sprouts to a large bowl. Add honey glaze and cranberries and and toss to combine. Transfer to a platter and sprinkle with orange zest.

Thanksgiving is only 5 days away but believe it or not, I’m not stressing, in fact I’m actually feeling on top of everything! Turkey is ordered ✅ shopping is done ✅ meal plan is set ✅ – all thanks to my full proof Thanksgiving guide, which I posted last year. Tomorrow is the official Day One of cooking (you have to start early!), but this dish I actually made yesterday for my office Friendsgiving; it was such a hit, I am now planning to repeat it.

This dish is so easy that I probably won’t make it until the day before. (I like to knock out the harder Thanksgiving sides further in advance.) So if you’re looking for a simple side to add to your table, one with minimal hands on time and only 4 ingredients – this is a great bet! It’s beautiful, festive, and downright delicious.
